Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer (Elec Bias)

ORB recruitment is delighted to offer a fantastic new permanent position from an award-winning company. They have invested in new technology and machinery to develop into a state of art manufacturing and distribution facility based in Barnsley, South Yorkshire. Due to natural growth, they are now seeking an (Multi Skilled) Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team.

The roles and responsibilities will be to carry out maintenance across their manufacturing site with a bias on Electrical however, must be able to undertake some mechanical work would be desirable. To work part of a team that continually improves the manufacturing operations in engineering.

Ensure timely completion of all planned preventative and reactive maintenance activities relevant to maintain the smooth running of the site.

Ideally, I am looking for candidates that can display a strong can-do attitude that can go that one step beyond and the ability to work part on their initiatives. Candidates that have BS 18th Edition, PLC experience that have also worked in a fast-paced manufacturing and or production facilities would be a great advantage. Experience of PLC fault-finding, electrical and electronic planned and preventative maintenance and similar.

In return, for the successful candidate, my client is offering a fantastic base salary circa £37k which includes a shift allowance working on a four-week rota.
