Two junior football teams are celebrating after netting a top donation from a kind-hearted Doncaster company.
Orb Recruitment, based in Balby Carr, has provided Doncaster School Boys and Rossington Main Junior under 8s boys football teams with brand-new kits, as well as a number of training garments to help keep them warm in the colder months.
Stewart Olsen, managing director of Orb Recruitment, said: “When I heard that the teams had been struggling to kit out all the young players with everything they needed, I was really happy to be able to help. Grassroots junior sport plays such an important role in society helping to give children a real focus and keep them fit and healthy. But we know that funding for these clubs can be a massive issue and operations are often done on a shoestring whilst relying on volunteers and donations to keep it all going.
