Following hot on the heels of Joshua’s recent appointment, we are really pleased to also be welcoming Angelika Davies (33) to the ORB team! Angelika, who lives in Worksop, joins as a recruitment consultant in the industrial sector.
Tell us a bit about your education and previous career history to date?
I originally come from Poland where I got a degree in Tourism and Hospitality. In 2008, I came here for a holiday and I stayed!
Initially in my career, I worked in hospitality and then moved to retail and for the last four years I have been in the recruitment industry, specialising mainly in the industrial and commercial sectors.
What does your role at ORB involve?
At ORB I am a recruitment consultant, working in the industrial sector. I bring new business in, fill bookings, interviews, inductions and all the usual tasks working in recruitment involves!
What do you think you are going to enjoy the most working at ORB?
The team at ORB are very honest and really look after you. I love recruitment so I know I’m going to really enjoy the job itself.
What do you enjoy most about working in recruitment?
I love meeting new clients and candidates.
What do you like to do outside of work?
I like spending time with my little boy who is eight. When not in a pandemic, I love going to the cinema and visiting the Peak District.

I can speak Polish but can also communicate in similar languages such as Czech, Slovakian and Lithuanian.
