Beth begins her ORB career

23.07.21

It’s a very warm welcome to our latest recruit Beth Ward who is 21 and from Doncaster. Here, we find out a little bit more about her and her new role at ORB.

Tell us a bit about your education and previous career history to date?

After leaving school, I completed a business administration apprenticeship in a private hospital. I then left after completing the course and started working in a call centre handling complaints and resolving queries as well as working as a support worker in the evenings. I’ve now moved into recruitment which is a really exciting step for me and seems like a natural progression.

What does your new role involve?

My job title at ORB is a recruitment resourcer which involves advertising jobs on different job boards, pre-screening potential candidates, carrying out inductions, managing temporary workers and leasing with clients. There is lots of variety.

What are you enjoying most so far?

I am enjoying working at ORB because everyone has a good sense of humour and is motivated whilst at work. This company stands out from the crowd because they are all very passionate and enthusiastic about their work and doing the very best for our clients and candidates.

What do you like about working in recruitment?

The thing I like the most about working in recruitment is the satisfaction you feel when you fill roles and hearing how happy candidates are when they find out they have got the job.

What do you like to do outside of work?

I like to spend time with my friends and family.

Tell us an interesting fact about yourself!

I am a twin! She is called Chloe and she actually works for ORB as a care temp. We’re not identical and have polar opposite personalities!
