Here at ORB Recruitment, helping the local community is something that is central to our business. Over the years we have supported everything from football teams to an array of charities, specialist education colleges and more. Recently this has extended to a Multi Academy Trust, which manages eight of our local schools in Doncaster, by providing sponsorship for their trust-wide sports day. Andy Hibbitt, deputy CEO of Exceed Learning Partnership, tells us more.
Our sports day, being held later this month, involves our Y3-Y6 children at eight schools across Doncaster including Bentley High Street Primary, Carr Lodge Academy, Hill Top Academy, Edlington Victoria Academy, Rosedale Primary, Sandringham Primary School, Sheep Dip Lane Academy and Willow Primary.
It is such as important day for us as it allows the children and colleagues from our schools to all come together at the amazing Eco Power Stadium and celebrate their sporting achievements at the same time.
Pupils will have the opportunity to showcase their skills, have friendly competition, build their confidence but most importantly experience something outside of the day-to-day curriculum. They enjoy a host of events including sprinting, hurdles, obstacle race, javelin, long jump and much more.

The key aim for us is to encourage our pupils to:
The support we get from local businesses like ORB means so much. Because of them we have been able to purchase medals, hire the facilities and we even have an ice cream van arriving so all our pupils can have an ice cream as a treat for their efforts. This will mean so much to every single one of them and a day out like this makes such a different and has such a huge impact. It will be a date in the calendar they will all never forget!
