ORB Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for an Experienced Bench Joiner to join our client who is an established joinery company with work taking place in the Wickford (SS11) Area.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret and work from technical drawings and specifications to produce precision joinery pieces.
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood components using various hand and power tools.
- Collaborate with the design and production teams to ensure the accurate execution of project requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring the proper care and use of tools and equipment.
- Contribute to quality control processes to ensure the final products meet or exceed client expectations.
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and techniques to continuously improve skills and contribute to the team's success.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Bench Joiner or similar role in a woodworking environment.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, materials, and joinery methods.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team, meeting tight deadlines.
- Physical stamina and strength for lifting and manipulating heavy materials.
Salary:
£39,780 - £44,500 (£17ph - £19ph) Depending On Experience.
Hours: 45 Hours per week (Overtime available)
