We are now looking to speak with candidates that have a genuine passion for education and to grow the youth community within the boroughs of Doncaster. Supporting their network of over 700 members, the position will work towards the vision and the company’s core values of Empowered, Helpful, Meaningful Collaboration, Credible and Belief. These core values set the standard for culture and behaviour for the successful candidate joining the team.
The main purpose of the role will be to contribute to the Education team’s delivery of all contracts and be the Careers, Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) lead for all activity undertaken within the team.
Ideally, we are looking for candidates that can provide impartial job training and study-related advice and guidance to schools, career hubs and enterprises that supports the youth community. We would like to speak with candidates that have a genuine passion for youth development and natural ability to engage and mentor at this level.
Due to the ongoing restrictions of the COVID 19 pandemic, businesses have had a unique opportunity to adapt to ongoing operations, to work across multiple channels of communication and platforms via virtual teams, to individuals or to a wider group audience.
The successful candidate should have a good grasp of utilising labour market information and the ability to map careers related learning to the curriculum. Local knowledge would be advantageous but is not essential. Experience working at youth education level or within a school environment would be highly desirable.
