VEHICLE TECHNICIAN
Being a Vehicle Technician involves working within a fast-paced environment where you will be part of a team that ensures timely delivery and preparation of cars to be Sales ready.
Key Responsibilities include….
- Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) of all outgoing sales vehicles.
- Full mechanical preparation of all sales vehicles, ensuring that they are fit for sale and customer demonstration (Test Drive).
- Identify work needed to ensure road safety along with detecting additional repairs required and diagnosing faults.
- Servicing, repair, and diagnostics of all vehicles – including Hybrid and EV, ensuring high standards
- Road testing vehicles to diagnose any faults.
- Includes Electrical and mechanical repairs which can involve all aspects of the vehicles.
- Adhering to manufacturer’s standards.
Working Hours/Salary
- This position pays a very competitive starting salary of £28,000 per annum.
- 40 Hours Per Week, Monday – Friday, with an AM Saturday shift every 1 in 2.
- You will get this back in lieu during the week.
Essential Skills/Experience
- Ideally be NVQ Level 3 Qualified Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or working towards. Level 2 will also be considered. We welcome anyone who is newly qualified and has a desire to learn and progress.
- Hold a Full UK Driving License
- Demonstrate good mechanical and electrical knowledge and an ability to ensure all work is carried out to a high standard.
